The Series 2 system offers converting solution for most digital requirements. A fully modular design permits options such as hot and cold foiling, flat bed applications, screen and flexo stations, laminating and 100% print face inspection. The modular design also enables the existing machine specification to be extended as and when job portfolios increase and facilitate entry into new market sectors. The system combines semi-rotary technology with accurate re-registration modules to allow a wide variety of converting applications.
Designed to run both in-line or off-line with a converting line or printing press, the RTS can achieve speeds of up to 40metres a minute for an A4 size sheet producing150 labels per minute with a cutting tolerance of 0.15mm. The system can count, space and bunch sheets in predetermined quantities. Driven through servo motors, the RTS can cut to label length or register. An optional, slide out rotary knife box designed to permit easy access and fast set up can also be supplied and permits slit widths down to 20mm. Easy to remove nip rollers provide for user friendly operation.
