The Omega system comprises
a 1,000 mm unwind unit with automatic reel lift, a splicing table
with clamps, a base capable of mounting a corona treater, specially
designed static elimination units, a flexographic coating head
with a fume extraction cover, a 700 mm rewind system and the capability
of operating up to 150 meters per minute.
The Omega system is capable of UV curing a primer such as the Topaz material,
drying a water-based primer (i.e., the Sapphire product) or, if needed, a drying
system for solvent-based primers sometimes used on filmic substrates.

The system is designed primarily for use off-line but can be adapted for use
in-line after almost any web printing press to meet the high productivity demands
of those printing short runs and just in time orders for labels, tags and tickets.
