machine to machine in a matter of minutes.
Also showcasing will be the latest version of the Omega Digicon
semi rotary converting line designed to operate in conjunction
with HP Indigo Webstream 4000 and 4050 digital print systems.
In cooperation with Lake Forest, California based Intech LP
the Company will exhibit Sabre Extreme CO2 Laser cutting system.
With the digital world growing in all sectors of packaging production,
the benefits of fast job turn-around coupled with the elimination
of high cost mechanical dies are now being realised in the labels
and packaging sectors. The new laser cutting technology offers
on demand converting without the expense and wear and tear of
handling and storing conventional tooling with job changes accomplished
in seconds.
The company also anticipates showing its new
Omega RFID/EAS Converter. The system takes rolls of pre-printed,
self-adhesive labels and integrates almost any type of electronic
inlay in a sandwich between label substrate and backing paper
that is subsequently die cut and rewound to finished rolls or
individual pieces.
