States Mr. Michael Brady,
President and Owner of H.P. Mile; “As a printer to the
pharmaceutical industry, we have to stay ahead of the curve with
our inspection equipment. The fleyeVision Pharma Control System
is a major upgrade to our existing inspection program and is
going on an Omega SR1300 Slitter/Rewinder. We have had an excellent
relationship with A B Graphic International Ltd and have been very
satisfied with their products. We are excited about the company’s
recent acquisition of flytec and are upgrading our current flytecVision
System with the new Pharma Control System”.
The fleyeVision Pharma Control System relies on a digital camera
with a resolution of up to 1392 x 1040 pixels. By using a double-camera
system, the inspection accuracy can be still further enhanced
attaining a resolution of up to 2784 x 1040 pixels, in effect,
obtaining a level of 200% label inspection. When a flaw is detected,
the machine slows down and the web stops the defective image
in a position enabling the operator to verify the defect and
instigate corrective action. Once the machine has been powered
up, reference images with printing tolerances are taught into
the system. Irrelevant print face areas can be excluded from
the inspection or defined for multiple areas.
Mr. Brady and his family have been involved in the pharmaceutical
printing business for over 20 years. H.P. Mile was founded 5
years ago to integrate the latest technologies in the production
process. Verification and multiple inspections are critical to
the production of pharmaceutical labels. Using the Pharma Control
System on all productions assures defect free labels. H.P. Mile
specializes in unique applications, including RFID and dissolvable
labels for the food service industry. |
